I love life, Seattle, the beach, myself. I fall in love regularly--with moments, things, people. I am a jaded optimist whose been around the world (twice). I've studied on the banks of the Charles and Yangtze rivers, and the shore of Lake Washington. I love mysteries and puzzles. My friends tend to be sci-fi and kung fu geeks. The past few years, I've been learning about marine life, yoga, ayerveda, playing bridge, and most recently remembering how to drive a stick shift.
It appears that I'm going to skip thoughts on Thanksgiving and, in belated honor of Black Friday, I'm going to republish my gift giving guide and then my wish list for the holiday/birthday season (I gave up my own Web site earlier this year, since I was more interested in periodic blogging than maintaining such a site).
