Kayaking poetry
These were written on my Johnstone Strait kayak vacation earlier this month:
Across glassy seas
kayaking together to
banana slug's home
Our kayak pod did sail
hoping to see a whale
Johnstone Strait we tried
orcas we espied
'cept Matt asleep up trail

Where in Johnstone Strait did you go?
We launched out of Telegraph Cove, a little south of Port McNeill, and paddled south. Camped at beach south of there and then crossed over to a little island called Compton Island. Were there two nights, and then back to our original beach for the last two.
