Endings

It is the end of another month. I'm DVRing the end of the second series I watch to end this month (first 'Psych' now 'How I Met Your Mother'). Yesterday was the end of the fourth season of 'The Walking Dead'. At the risk of sounding old, I remember when everything ended in May.

At work, one of the senior directors and the vice provost are both retiring. Winter quarter has given way to Spring quarter. The cherry blossoms have peaked.

I've heard that the reason famous people often die around the same time as one another is that they have so much karma surrounding them they require certain circumstances to let them change state, as it were.

There is definitely something in the air, and the fact that I am not acting on it seems absurd. I am so looking forward to the end of allergy season.

I saw a commercial tonight for this week's episode of 'NCIS'. Scott Bakula is guest starring and, having not seen him in awhile, my thought was, "He's gotten old." Until tonight, I'd never fully appreciated the fact that means that I must also have gotten older. There's been a slight shift lately in my awareness of The End, of my end. It just wasn't there before.

Maybe it is just something in the air, or maybe I have some things to figure out.
