Kayaking poetry

These were written on my Johnstone Strait kayak vacation earlier this month:

Across glassy seas
kayaking together to
banana slug's home

Our kayak pod did sail
hoping to see a whale
Johnstone Strait we tried
orcas we espied
'cept Matt asleep up trail
